Last summer, we did a model call for seniors because we absolutely love doing senior sessions! This beautiful lady was one of our models and she was a total gem! Lindsey did her hair and makeup at the studio at the beginning of the session, then our model tried on some awesome pieces from our client closet. Then we styled and started shooting. The whole evening was a blast. Kaelyn’s mom and sister were along and we were all rolling laughing at times throughout! The session flowed so smoothly with us starting at the studio (in Nodine, MN which is 15 minutes from La Crosse, WI) then moving to an open field with some trees nearby, and ending at the water’s edge. It was a great way to capture the amount of variety we love to be able to incorporate into all of our galleries whenever we get the chance!

At the studio, we started out with a cozy yet classy look with pieces from our client closet. We love that even in our small studio, we have the option to do so many different looks!

Next, we were off to the field and Kaelyn radiated in more pieces from the closet here! The wildflowers, sunset, clouds, and trees gave us the perfect setting, not to mention the weather was nothing short of comfortable. We have a lot of fun playing around with serious looks as well as playful ones.

Our last stop was the Mississippi River’s edge where this girl turned into a water Goddess! We never want our sessions to end but we shoot at sunset so we only have so much time before it gets too dark. Sometimes we can catch some great shots during blue hour and we really did that here.
